Big Picture Construction did a major restoration of our home last year. Their work on the main level of our home included remodeling the kitchen, dining room, living room, and front entryway. In the kitchen, they removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room, built and installed new cabinets and custom-made pantry doors, and took care of all the details that go with this type of remodel. Removing the soffit over the old cabinets exposed a support beam that no one expected. Brian, the owner of Big Picture, moved the support beam up and took care of the unexpected problem which was then approved by the city engineer and inspector. Other work in our remodel included new baseboards and woodwork around all the windows and doors on the entire level including a new banister, hand railing, and post going upstairs, installing a new closet door and a new front entry door, new woodwork in the upstairs hallway, and new woodwork around a fireplace platform downstairs.
Since our big restoration project, we have had Big Picture Construction back for a few smaller jobs. Those jobs included reattaching an existing handrail and adding an additional handrail to the stairway going downstairs, and wrapping the back entry door frame in alluminum. Brian also came back and fixed a problem with the caulking between my new countertop and the backsplash that the original installer was unable to fix correctly.
Brian’s attention to detail is unmatched and his craftsmanship is absolutely amazing. He and his crew are not only very skilled, they are also reliable, dependable, and just great people. We are spoiled….I’ll never call anyone else besides Big Picture Construction!
